The trees, the trees. I took a walk today, and there are two that get special attention from me, mostly because they're right on the path, and close together, so I can touch them and send them Love. And they send it back! And the whole little group of trees and ferns (I call them "Ferniture") and bushes and other friends... Sooooo good.
Glad you got power back, we had a similar experience over the night last night, but a very much lighter version of what you describe. I don't know that any weather in anything very populated is even real anymore, but... the weather does try to "fight back" sometimes... This time I only lost power for about three minutes!
