It takes a bit of doing it for it to feel "natural." You go, girl!
I'm feeling better, as in, some symptoms have eased, but I feel like I now have just a bad cold.
It's only a terrible thing in the sense that I'm losing money and only able to work part/time right now because I'm in training. So... I may apply for more rental assistance, as long as they don't try to insist I get jabby or something to get it. Trying not to be stressy.
Maybe your body needed a break you weren't willing to give it. You never know. As long as you're feeling a litter better each day and not worse, that's a step in the right direction. Everything else will work itself out. I had to surrender when I got sick in November. Like you, I'm rarely sick.I wanted to throw every remedy at it but I just kept hearing my body say "Stop. Just sleep." It took two weeks before I felt myself again.
Regarding the phone - it's not the talking/texting I would miss (I hate talking on the phone!) its the photos. It's such a part of my creative process, I would miss that. I know I could go back to my "real" camera but IDK. We shall see! xo
First off, I'm not usually a one to push my body when it's telling me to rest. I have LOADS of energy, normally, so that's not really a thing.
What's deeply alarming to me is how this "sickness" started... with what I thought was a heart attack. I thought I was dying-- I've never felt such pain in my heart, excruciating. And it subsided after a time, in the wee hours of the morning, and I called in sick the next day, but I WENT AND TOOK MY TEST for my new job that I'd been waiting to do, had an appointment for, somehow stayed able enough to drive there (half an hour), PASSED the test, drove home, and passed out. I was very sick the whole time, and slept for a long time.
Was very sick for a week, but just in terms of being utterly without any energy at all. AND-- on I think it was Thursday? Friday? I went to get some foil to shield myself from my damned Smart Meter, and once out of my house and down the road a bit, I felt better! I got the foil, and on the way back I decided to just sit at a pier that's near my house and look at the water for a while... When I left the pier about half and hour later, I FELT ALMOST NORMAL. Back home, and my symptoms returned-- stuffy nose and head, dry cough and just feeling like a wet rag... Sunday I woke abruptly and it felt different, somehow, I felt something had "let up." I felt different, better. Also Sunday I began to get congestion, but not too much. All during the week I've had hardly any appetite, so I made myself eat, easy things like broth with milk in it. Now today, I just ate a little piece of salmon, but I seem to have lost my sense of taste... I'm saying all this because I rarely get sick; I have stopped giving any credence to the idea of "viruses," especially viruses that can take a break when I go to some other location for a period of time, and then return when I get home... I feel as though I was ZAPPED by EMF's, and while I've read about how the symptoms are very similar to a cold/flu, it was curious to experience that. I barely had any "movements" during this past week, but when I did they were extremely "loose." I estimate I've lost 5-6 pounds.
Well, that's enough of that, thanks for "listening." xo
Oh, I wasn't implying you had a "virus." Sounds like you did some good investigating on the cause. It's really sad what has happened to our world and the control we feel we've lost over our own health. Someone just posted a tweet from psycho Bill G. himself that said "Vaccines in our food supply solves the problem of vaccine hesitancy." Trust your gut, which it seems you are! xo
No, I didn't think you were implying anything... Sorry, I'm a bit cloud-headed right now... I just thought something might sound familiar to you and you'd have some advice, or whatever.... I DUNNO, lol, I'm just feeling like an over-cooked noodle...
Aww, thx, MJ! I used to do private consultations and teach it a bit but what I really love doing is writing about it. For some reason, it deeply resonated with me from the moment I heard the word "Ayurveda." Thanks for reading! xo
In TCM dairy produce is avoided completely. One anecdote, given to me by my professor, amuses me and I like to disgust my clients with it because I have a naughty streak!
It is this:
The Chinese word for CHEESE actually translates to BLOCK OF PHLEGM. I knew you would love it! 🤣😂
HAHAHA! Exactly. 🧀 Ayurveda's take on dairy is very nuanced - milk, for example, should always be raw and heated, preferably with spices, and drank alone. I doubt most people, unless they are familiar with Ayurveda, drink milk that way. For some people, it can be incredibly healing. For others, nothing but a phlegm ball leading to health problems. TCM and Ayurveda were both a big part of my own healing journey. xo
I am really lucky to get it at our local farmer's market from the farmer who only has a few cows and treats them kindly. They get months off and so, so do I. It's illegal in a lot of states here but when I was in NY/NJ, my supplier for all things raw and close to the farm was Ahmed, a sweet man who drove an unmarked white van and made trips to Amish farms in PA weekly and then would park down the block for all of us to covertly shop for the goods. He would even go to a spring and bring us spring water. He got busted a few times but would just change his location. :)
I'll bet you do! I miss him! :) It was hilarious during the "lockdown" which we both completely ignored. I was out alone on the streets, riding my bike, witnessing them installing cameras and 5G everywhere. Then covertly picking up raw milk, local honey, spring water, etc. 😂
Thanks for this, I like listening to your voice. ^_^
:) Thanks for listening! Who knew? I was terrified the first time I did it. Now I actually (kind of) enjoy doing it! Hope you're feeling better. xo

I partly put that long, gnarly comment there simply to document it... Hope that's not a bother.

And I'd really LOVE to flush that old bill right on down the tube...

Hello.
You are so well-versed in this area. I think you would be a good teacher on this subject. Thank you for sharing your insight.
xoxo

It has been in my life. Can't do dairy at all.

I am in the UK where raw milk is not available unless you find a willing cow and milk it yourself!

I dare say we have a few Ahmeds in UK.... well, I sincerely hope so!

Love to compare it to the TCM 5 Elements.
I think I am a Kapha type . In TCM, I have a lot of dampness, weak Spleen, can be sluggish. I was sicker than ever living in Oregon- damp, cold.
You're welcome, J.R. I know...it's a long one! Thx for reading it. :)
