The trees are beautiful and far-reaching for so many reasons affecting us in so many ways since the beginning of time. Shelter, aesthetics, health, historical meaning, In The Golden Spruce by John Vaillant you get the same sense of this life force, power, provisional healing, spiritual meaning and practical resource you’ve shown here.

I love trees, too! I remember embarrassing my family when we drove through the tiny little patch of Redwoods in CA when I was a teen... because I was hugging the trees! And outside the cottage I rent, there were three biggies, I'm terrible with what species or whatever, but some kind of pines... Two of them had to be cut down, per the landlady. They were going to cut all three, and I was distraught and told them so... The tree expert who came to do it was aware of this... As they cut the first two, I went inside and wept because I couldn't watch it... And then the landlord (brother and sister team ownership) came to my door and said the tree guy told him the last tree, the one I see right outside my window all the time, was OK, and didn't have to be cut down! I was so ... "happy" doesn't really describe it.

I talk to them, trees. I touch them and try to send love into them, and I tell them to HANG ON. I ask the Great Spirit to help them, and all the plants... Because the EMF's are not just cooking US, they're cooking the plants, too.

I haven't had time to really dig into the copper wire thing-- I'm taking my Big Exam on Monday, and then I will have time to get on it. And that's why it's taken me so long to read this post, which I saved, and so glad I did!! Yay! I love Jack and his crooked smile! Someday I want to go and visit him... and Scotland, etc... I feel the pull to visit there, too.

We were chosen to be alive during this period in history... for a reason. That's why, when I re-structure my distilled water, I sing to it. ^_^

What a blessing that you've spent time with the Redwoods! Tree lovers/huggers always understand the feeling when we witness one coming down - small or large. I'm so happy to see that there are still many healthy trees where I live, despite all the challenges. Good luck on your exam, Jaan! xo

We all have a song in us, Barbara. Just like the birds, and every sentient being in this perceived reality. I'd love it if you shared your song! 💕🎶

Do you know?!? I can't believe I didn't tell you BUT... for my Mama's funeral.... ( she was also a major tree lover) people donated to have 161 trees planted rather than send flowers ( we had loads of those too) ... it was so flooring that so many did that to honor my Mommie. Thank you for this share. I can't wait to hear the ever changing song🥰🤗🥰💚🤎

Thank you so much Barbara for always reminding me to return to the places that awaken connection within and re-connection to the natural world that supports all of our lives. I miss my frequent solo trips, walking among the tress or with my feet in the water. Perhaps your post is a gentle reminder to return more routinely.

Same here! Ping-ponging temps and wind. Sunny with a side of geoengineering. Don't remind me of Bug Season, which will soon be upon us here in NH. They never used to BUG me when I lived in MI. :)
