Me, finally getting to this post! I save them sometimes until I have the time and the right space, because I find myself, like you with your phone, not wanting to get sucked into it all... Nothing, at all, personal about that, either, it's the Screen Dilemma. You know.
So-- I had two (three?) thoughts about this post that I'll say to you...
One, I am also one of those creative types who falls in love with things I've created, or that sort of fall into my life, like a pine cone that is particularly cute, for example. I like feathers, too, and "plant" them in my plants. I am appalled at people who tell you to "just be in the moment and put the camera down" -- !!!!!! How amazingly rude and, shall we say, BLIND? lol Because having a camera in our hands while being in an artistic moment IS being in the moment!! They clearly do not understand... Until they see your photos and your narrative with those photos in a post, or in a photography show, or... in a PINK BOOK. ;)
The other thing I wanted to say is, PINK is my thing right now, too! I'm a cartoonist and I have a LOT of dog cartoons I've drawn... But recently I've become quite attached to ... a PINK one. I'm using it for my re-start of my business of doing Many Things... including SCONES, should you care to order any! They are SO FREAKIN GOOD, and I say that without ANY due modesty. Well, the pink dog is around, I'll put your name on a note with it, if you'd like... But just funny how THAT particular dog is now my Brand. ;) I have biz cards and email logo... ha.
Yes, the screen thing is a conundrum. I'm working hard to minimize while still using this platform for now, as it seems you are, too. :)
Haha, about being in the moment with a camera! It's creative medicine...not a drug. :)
I'm glad things are looking up for you, Jaan, and I would love to try your scones, but I live on the other side of the country! :) My mouth is salivating remembering the scones from Ireland and Scotland, probably sans glyphosate. Please email me the details. TY and Pink Is Everything! XOXO
These scones are better than anything I ever had in England, but I wasn’t there that long, either. I CAN and DO mail them in the US. And I DO use organic flour! Of course. Also organic milk, sugar, and whatever else I can. These are High End, and not cheap. ;)
But, do I have your email? I will check, I’m about to run off for a while, but I’ll get back to you.
I love all of this and the pink is everything inspiration!! I am so happy there was a fresh pink journal waiting on a shelf. You have so much beauty and wisdom to share with the world and I can’t wait to witness what you bring forth. Love you!
Of course we wish you luck, but you won't need it. You've got this! I think Springtime is bringing the excitement to create to our lives.....and clean up the garden. I was raking yesterday and feeling excited about how lovely and fresh things were looking. Our ornamental cherry trees are dropping petals everywhere with the help of the wind. It looks like a party with pink confetti strewn along our driveway. I didn't have the heart to rake them...no way, let the party continue!
Your fixation on pink sent me to wondering about why? I know very little about you other than what you write in your stack. So I went to searching what would pink represent. Pink is not a unique frequency spectrum. It’s kind of like white. But unlike white its power density increases with lower frequency. Many lower frequencies are earth and biologically related. Rain. Wind. Waterfalls. Heartbeats. Aha. There you go. And that was just a quick search/ browse. Whatever your pink book topic is, I’m sure will be a highly relevant and insightful to your relationship with nature.
Thanks for your input, Mike! It's very interesting what you discovered. I've never even bothered to research it.
I was never fixated on the color Pink until I got that message in my meditation. I have always been super sensitive to color, and maybe that's why I was a vessel for the message?? Who really knows? At any rate, I'm not even sure if my book will focus on color or if Pink Is Everything! will be one story in it. Stay tuned, and thanks for reading and leaving a message!
Having just closed my pink journal - not kidding - where I wrote a partial poem that included the phrase: "Repeatable patterns of thumb-print signatures; each and everyone unique", I then checked my email and found this post.
This morning when I initially woke, before getting out of bed (not quite 4:00AM) I noticed a deeper quiet. I thought, something has changed. Something left or dissolved, I don't know how to explain it, but more space. So, good.
And there you are with this inspiring post which I take as confirmation of something I can't name but know. The universe - and us - move in mysterious ways. Feels a bit like we're catching a new current.
I'll quote you too!
Stay tuned
Oh, Universe
Please don’t change
your crazy ways
I love you
just the way you are
Love this post, love you, wonderful Barbara. Thank you for reflecting the very best things. ❤️
Oh my gosh, Mary! "Like some haggard self-made dam...." What a great description! So happy you're feeling it too, and actually, you and Kathleen crossed my mind as I was writing it, wondering if you were feeling the same. Isn't Life grand??

I don't have your email. I will PM you.
Thank you, Barbara. You are such an inspiration. "I am so Blessed", to know you! XOXO
Aww, thank you, Ronnie. You are a dear...we are both blessed to have connected here! XOXO
I just never would have associated you with pink, Barbara. Green, of course, brown, maybe blue. Never pink. I love being surprised by you!
And crows are my totem. I have a Crow tarot deck that's my favorite. They surround me and watch out for me.
This is beautiful.
HOLY smokes 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
The message from her!!!! Wow 💗
Xo!!!!! Your biggest fan 💕💕💕

I thought about all the excited, creative gardeners among my readers when I wrote that!
I LOVE Cherry trees so much. When I lived in Michigan, we had the most beautiful Kwanzan Cherry tree at the side of our house. She was mesmerizing.
Happy Spring, Heide! 🩷

Wow. Let's GOOOO! 🤸🏼♀️
Feeling it big time. Like some haggard self-made dam just up and washed away, the river springing forward clear and joyful again.
I'm so happy for you, Barbara. You have work/play still to do... and I can't wait to see it. May the crows be with you! Xox!

Same here, Mary.
