I had never heard chickadees before! They’re quite cheeky!

Your Vata energy is radiating right now, Barbara! I wish I can be a Bly on your wall or even a chipmunk on your parch to watch you creating and whistling away!

lol, “H” season. Sounds like something you contract being naughty.

H Season… you make me laugh! I miss Chip…he’s down in his burrow for the duration, I guess. Gosh, I wish I had a camera down there filming his cuteness. 🐿️ Happy Vata Season, Tonika! 🌲🌲🌲💚

Your posts never fail to make me happy, Barbara. Those chickadees!

And the 'H' season.

I had morning coffee in bed, waited for the first bird sounds - late, 6:29! - and thought of about 6 different ideas for a post, couldn't seem to write a thing. (Well, a poem I don't actually understand so I'll spare my readers.)

Gave up, checked my email, and saw this which I smiled through.

The world is better for you. Thank you. Happy "H" season, dear friend.

Also, I am so in love with the Chickadees that I plan to jazz up the Willow they hang out in every morning. :) Do you have them there??

Nice. They'd probably like lights. :-)

I do, black capped chickadees are always around and more so this time of year. They hang between a big pine in the yard and a hydrangea tree.

On walks near rivers I'll spot grey colored ones, not sure what they are called, so far have not seen them in my yard.

Thank you, Kathleen, and I so relate to "and thought of about 6 different ideas for a post, couldn't seem to write a thing.) !! It comes when it wants/needs to come, doesn't it?

The world is better for you, too, my friend. I always feel your heart and humor in what you write. Happy calm H season to you, as well! XOXO

I just love this post, Barbara, thank you. It’s given me permission to breathe in the quiet moments and reflect over all the beauty before us that is really everywhere when I just pause and notice it. A pine bough, a curled beech leaf, the way the blackcapped chickadees stitch the air with their wings and the sweet songs filling their thickets. They are so brave that they’ll land on your hand cupped with seed. Happy “H” to you and your woodland visitors, Barbara!
