Your Mystery Garden looks and sounds beautiful. I have what I call a wild garden. I grow fruit, veg and herbs but my passion is "weeds"! It is not in me to grow rows of produce so I relate to your style of gardening. I'm looking forward to the start of growing season while enjoying the quiet time this season brings. Best wishes x
Thank you, Kirsty! Minus the horrible chomping bugs that come with spring and summer here, I much prefer the wildness of the precious weeds, too. In the meantime, I'm savoring the quiet down time without all the work that gardening brings. Have a beautiful week! xo
Oh Barbara, I really enjoy listening to your blog. Youβre amazing, you have what so many farmers/gardeners could only wish for and that it true connection to the land. So donβt beat yourself up, donβt follow the βruleβ books on weeding and attending, just garden using your heart, your magical connection to the land and I have a feeling it will blossom and be bountiful!
I am in awe of all have done in such a short timeframe! Love you my friend β£οΈπ§ββοΈβ£οΈπ§ββοΈ
Wow Barbara sound like your doing your true calling from the heart, exciting journey, love it your surroundings are beautiful Keep up your gardening, Iβve tried, no luckπmy lemon tree gives me hard green rocksπ€·ββοΈTomatoes π€·ββοΈ So Iβll keep shopping at FM, blessings to you and your mystery gardens and Iβm going to check my archetype TY and thank you for sharing the Wonders of your mystical gardensπ₯° π love and hugsβ€οΈππ
Your sense of presence is also an inspiration. It reminds me of a mind hack my old business coach gave me. Whenever you reach a moment when you need to take action, but find it difficult to start, you can ask yourself, βWhat do I need to do to be present?β Often the answer to that question gets you half way to where you want to be already. I often have to ask myself that to just begin something like mindfulness meditation.
Awww! Thx for taking the time to read, Ethan! I know how busy you and Amy must be. :) I'm so in awe of you and the other farmers. Truly. I will definitely check out Will's book - maybe food for thought for next year?? Like I said, planning ahead is not my strength. But, meditation I have strangely been able to, well, I wouldn't say master, but I do pretty well with it and it has been life-changing. Even just a walk-in-the-woods kind of meditation. Mindfully, like you say.

Builder, gardener, Nurturer I was all over the placeπ
Multi-talented at many important things! xoxo
You sound like a true gardener to me, keep up the great work! I think you would really like Will Bonsalls book on radical self reliant gardening. Heβs a legendary Maine gardener with a classic Yankee ingenuity. It sounds like you and your garden may be ready for it. https://www.chelseagreen.com/product/will-bonsalls-essential-guide-to-radical-self-reliant-gardening/
