I really needed this mantra today! Thank you Barbara. All kinds of weird stuff, dreams, things I have read, my yoga students talking about it, my children saying odd things about aging and me looking at my hair greying by the month. So yes, I am love and I am here to stay! The rest of them can just 'do one' (a Manchester colloquialism; as in get lost!) I have finally decided to love myself for who I am at the age of 60, grey hairs and all. Just wish it had been a bit sooner.........
You go, girl. ^_^ I'm 62 and going for my Commercial Driver License... ;)
Love your post, Barbara, as usual. xo Yes, we are Nature, we are part of Everything, it's all connected, and Everything is One Thing. I've begun to OM in the car on the way to work... a bit different than howling... ;)
Power to the Crone (means Crown π) is what I say! It is never too late for us to truly love ourselves. And it's definitely a process. These are really interesting times, and I feel like there are going to be major shifts in how we view aging. Thanks for reading, Ingrid, and I'm glad you've embraced the mantra. It was the first thing that popped into my head this morning after yet another night of weird dreams. I lay there saying, "I am love, and I am here to stay," over and over. it was timely for me that I found that photograph. I'm glad I was compelled to share it rather than keep it tucked away for myself. π
Barbara You are Loveπ I believe Iβm in the bubbleπpeople tell me I live in a bubble, and yes mine is pinkπΈπthank you for the wonderful blogπ«ΆπΌππ
So are you, Sheila, and I love that you live in a Pink Bubble, too. It's a wonderful place to hang out. You're welcome. Thank you for taking the time to read/listen! π
White Pine? πππ I have never seen so many offerings of White Pine in all my years of traveling these woods! I have been hiking a lot lately and would need a truck to carry home all of the beautiful fresh pine boughs. (Even on the sides of the roads) Our beloved pines have been braving the winds. And it's windy today!
I was being silly. I know you have plenty where you are. :) You're right, there have been a LOT of Pine branches down this year so far. I lost power for a bit earlier... xo
Aww, thank you, Claudia, for reading and for your sweet comment. π I probably confused everyone - I made two things - a Pine/Jojoba Oil and a Pine tincture with vodka! And then I make Pine infusions in water to drink! π²π² xoxo B
