I too believe there will come a time when we don't have to even use that word "money." I have a difficult time with it, as well. I think it's because it's so unnatural. It does not grow on trees (isn't that a ridiculous saying.) In fact, we kill the trees to make it! So bizarre!
We shall carry on, with hopes and dreams of a world where we can truly have a symbiotic relationship with mother earth.

WEll, I'll be_---if that plate isn't Franciscan ware and the pattern is prairie rose (which is the state flower of Nokata) and my homestate. I have a few pieces of it then switched to the apple pattern, what a muddle---so now just content with what I can keep family from breaking---do you have a complete set, out of curiosity?

Desert Rose! I kept most of it when I moved. I love it. I have a weird thing for dishes and it was one of the hardest things for me to pare down when I moved. The artist in me comes out when I have a meal. I.e. tomato soup will usually go in a green bowl...
I had a little "incident" on Saturday and a plant that was vining behind a shelf over my stove got caught on the door when I opened it and glassware (including the sweet little Desert Rose creamer, my mother's beautiful wine glass, and some other treasures went flying and crashed to the floor in a million tiny shards. Holy moly! It was intense. But, I managed not to get cut and cleaned it all up. They're only things.
