Today is 11/11, and this will be a mini post, like this precious mini house (full disclosure - she’s much bigger inside than she looks on the outside), into which I moved exactly four years ago.
I had another post almost ready to roll and multiple others in various stages (it’s Vata Season, after all!), but while walking in the woods this morning, I decided to send out this little message of hope and encouragement instead.
All year long in 2020, I had my sights set on escaping the city and settling somewhere in serious nature. It was not the easiest year to go searching, let alone uproot my Taurus moon and rising signs. We love to be home.
But I wanted a new home and trees and quiet solitude. And so I started saying this mantra:
I want to live somewhere where I can walk out my door into the woods, and I want to see mountains.
And, after an excruciating year, that is exactly where I landed
on 11/11.
You’ve probably heard my moving story before, so I won’t repeat it today. But it still gives me chills when I think of all the magic that happened to bring me here.
I don’t even know from what source that mantra came. I only remember riding my bike by the river when I heard it loud and clear.
I wanted to write this post for you, precious readers.
There are a few people in my life struggling in different ways. Every day, I hope that things will shift for them - that a ray of sunshine will brighten their day, and they will feel well and not be so burdened with responsibilities and illness.
I imagine some of you reading this are also in challenging situations. Not to mention everything going on in our wider world.
I have been there. I know how hopeless we can feel when in the proverbial fire—or just feeling stuck.
But things shift and change as long as we stay open and continue to move forward—even just baby steps.
Today, I’m feeling the magic of 11/11. I first became drawn to the number 11 when I discovered that my life path number is 11/2. When I moved here and went to the post office to get my PO box, guess what box was available? 111! And the last four digits of my zip code are 0111.
I love numerology, so when I realized that 11/11 was today, I thought I would share this Instagram post with you:
I hope that you’re feeling some magic in the air today.
I hope this day, this month, and beyond will bring peace and joy into your life.
Dream big. Anything is possible!
Much Love,
Barbara
