Your poem stopped me in my tracks. Gorgeous and true, and just what I needed to hear today, right now. I'm sitting in an alternative health clinic, as I will be every day for the foreseeable future, to accompany my sister's treatment for lung cancer. Western medicine has nothing left for her -- if it ever had anything to begin with -- and she is, indeed, choosing the Path of Hope. Love and gratitude to you, Barbara. xoxox

Oh, Mary. I am sending so much Pink Love to both of you: the patient and the caregiver. No doubt, both of your lives will be changed as you are led down this unexpected path. I hope that you both retain a healthy dose of Hope and Optimism. The body is truly miraculous, as is our Spirit. XOXOXO 🩷🩷🩷

I love you so much, and I love your posts so much, too.

This time it's almost like you knew exactly what to say to me... and it is so healing and good.

I am starting a New Adventure in about 10 days (or less, if possible), as my hostess has given me the BOOT simply for saying I thought Extrajudicial Rendition was wrong... It's almost like she thought I said all children should be raped, or all animals should be slaughtered or something hideous like that!!! I still am shocked, but I know what this is... The Normie Psychotic Fear Response... and she tells me I KNEW she couldn't handle a "political discussion"!!! I'm just standing here going.... "Wha--?" So, I'm off to find some other thing, hopefully not toooo long in my car before I'll be able to rent a space of my own. I want some of that oil, really bad! ^_^

But anyway, thank you for your beautiful post, you are a Healer, whether you realize that or not!

It was perfect for me... My twin sister from another mother... xo xo xo

Oh my, I'm going to have to look up Extrajudicial Rendition. I have never heard that term! I've just been in the woods, you know. :) Good luck to you, Jaan. I'm sure you'll land on your feet again. Thanks for reading and leaving a comment! 🌲🌲🌲 XOXO

OMGosh, OMGod! This entire post was just the sweetest thing ever, especially that adorable baby girl. Out of the mouths of babes as they say. We need to take special note of what the children have to say. I think they're way ahead of us. I need to get me to the woods today pronto! Thanks, Barbara for the inspiration. xox

I have been lost in the woods too...and panic may be the only killer. This reminded me of a silly story. I was swimming at a friend's house in Belize on vacation. I was diving down to the bottom and collecting large conch shells. I found a beautiful one, gave it a shake and carried in my bathing suit bottom as I continued my swim. I started to feel a tickle but refused to pay it attention until I could no longer ignore it. I took out the shell and a small colorful snake swam out. I panicked and thought, "I'm gonna die." I started to swim quickly back towards home and thought that the poison from the bite would surely only travel faster through my bloodstream so I turned over and floated for awhile. I calmed myself with the thought that if this was my time to die, I would embrace it. The beautiful sun, the water, etc all perfect for a Pisces girl who always loved the water. I slowly made it back to camp where all my buddies wanted to look at my bum. Apparently it was not much of a bite or. perhaps a non poisonous snake. Another lesson was absorbed. Lol. Happy weekend, Barbie!

Oh, my! What a great story, Heide! Especially for a Pisces girl. 💦 Snake Medicine and a conch shell. :) I'm impressed that you thought to stuff it into your bathing suit bottom!

I just realized...Path #2. My Lifepath number is 2...

Happy Trails to you, too, my friend! 🧚🌲💚

I was watching my 5yo granddaughter whirl and dance around to Tom Petty the other night. Not exactly in time with Tom but definitely enjoying her world. Your thoughts reminded me of something I heard somewhere. The inner child retains direct link to the divine and is always with you. You just need to talk to them occasionally.

Beautiful, Barbara💚

I just turned 69 and also choose Path#2!

It's not an avoidance or dismissal of the many steep climbs--in fact I still love the challenge, and exhilaration of my breath and heartbeat that accompanies that terrain. It's an honoring of the journey and a healing/calming of the vessel that has carried me this far.

Your words shine a light on possibility, the limitless potential of so much more life to live🌿🍃, so much nature to experience.

Getting lost (in the past) now feels more like moving through a dimensional veil into the wonders beyond...beyond so many things!

Thank you for sharing your inner adventures.

Thank you, Chele! Wise words from a fellow wise woman. I love that we've both chosen Path #2, and yes, I feel that moving through a dimensional veil, also! It's magical and something I wish for everyone as they move through this precious life.

Thanks for reading and taking the time to leave such a thoughtful comment. 💚
